Night Photography

Here are a few photos from a "night out" from around my area. Tried a few new things here as in long exposure to get the light trails, and adding the moon in the first photo.
These are also the last pictures with my old camera (D3100) as I've just bought the new Nikon D800.

BOADICEA

I took this photo of Boadicea and when I looked at it on my PC it looked too flat, too much into the background. So I set myself a task, take away the background and hopefully end up with a better looking photo.

I thought I take away the background and replace it with the sky. I had this photo already and I just took out the lamp post.

Added a few more clouds.

Here is the final photo. 

Boadicea with a better background and using the rule of thirds I moved it across the page so it looks like she is riding into the photo.

City Of London

Here are a few of my photos from the city of London, known as the square mile, and Canary Wharf. It was a very hot day and a long walk around town. Hard work but someone has to do it.

St Paul's Cathedral, London

Some of my pictures of this famous cathedral in the city of London. Built by Sir Christopher Wren.
The present St Paul's is the fifth cathedral to have stood on the site since 604, and was built between 1675 and 1710, after its predecessor was destroyed in the Great Fire of London of 1666.
